Product information "Kirk & Sweeney XO Edición Limitada No. 1"
Handmade in the Dominican Republic, lasts This rum adheres to the very strict regulations in order to be able to bear the title "Dominican Rum". 
The process begins with hand-harvested, high-quality sugar cane that is pure. 
The by-product of the sugar cane, "Blackstrap Molasses", is then carefully fermented and distilled.  
The rum is then aged in a variety of American and French oak casks, with various steps being carried out by the distiller of dumping, blending and re-barreling over the years. 

The bottle
The handcrafted crystal glass is of the highest quality, inspired by traditional bottles used during the first major
era of rum in the early 20th century.
The stopper is also handmade from crystal and is customized for each individual bottle.
The intricate lettering is sandblasted and meticulously hand-painted in luxurious gold.

The box
Inspired by an old captain's reserve cigar box, the bottle is enclosed in a luxurious mahogany-style presentation box and opens like a treasure chest or old suitcase.
Antique nautical charts of the main rum smuggling route and a compass are printed in gold on the cream leather interior.
The coordinates of the location where the historic schooner Kirk & Sweeney was impounded by the United States Coast Guard
are featured prominently on the inlaid volume.

Nose: dominant aromas of dried fruits and subtle oak - behind them caramel and toffee
Taste: Notes of toasted oak and vanilla begin, followed by raisins and sherry, layers of spice and sweet dried fruit
Finish: long, warm and robust finish - this XO rum makes you want more
