Product information "Kirk & Sweeney Gran Reserva"
Handmade in the Dominican Republic, lasts This rum adheres to the very strict regulations in order to be able to bear the title "Dominican Rum". 
The process begins with hand-harvested, high-quality sugar cane that is pure. 
The by-product of the sugar cane, "Blackstrap Molasses", is then carefully fermented and distilled.  
The rum is then aged in a variety of American and French oak casks, with various steps being carried out by the distiller of dumping, blending and re-barreling over the years. 
The final blend is a selection of different wines Ages - Rums between 5 and 20 years old, carefully selected by hand, this is indeed a rum worth pursuing.

Nose: this full-bodied rum offers an intriguing range of aromas, from intense vanilla to faint aromas of sherry and raisins - above all roasted cane sugar
Taste : mouth-filling and complex - a deep vanilla flavor followed by dried fruit, nutmeg, cinnamon spices and hints of spicy oak
Finish: very long and round on the finish - gentle tones of spicy oak, sherry and raisins
