On the one hand, Sylt - which has historically been handed down as Sild - offers us a unique storage location for the real Sylter SILD single malt whiskeys with its beautiful coastal landscape, rough sea, miles of sandy beaches and the mighty cliff edges.
After the success of the pioneering project SILD "Crannog", probably the only single malt whisky in the world that is stored in a ship at sea, the second Sylter SILD single malt whisky "Jöl en Reek" was created.
A single malt whisky, which is stored in a former bunker on the island of Sylt and is the only whisky with Sylt peat and malted barley to feel the harsh island climate.
On the other hand, the unique lake landscape in the Upper Bavarian foothills of the Alps, nestled between the snow-capped peaks and the natural forests, offers us the special opportunity to create unique whiskys.
The Lantenhammer distillers took up the new challenge and presented the new Bavarian SILD whiskey with the Bavarian malt whiskys SILD "Heritage 28" and SILD "Triple Cask" and the whisky liqueur SILD "Honey & Heather".

SILD Single Malt Whisky Triple Cask is a unique triad of selected cask notes combined in one whisky.
Thanks to the long experience of the master distiller, only whiskys are married that have matured to perfection for at least five years in hand-picked, first-fill exAmontillado sherry casks, second filled export wine casks and wine casks from the finest wineries in Burgundy.
This unique combination combines fine whisky notes into a highly complex and multifaceted whisky experience.
The full-bodied character with a variety of fine wood notes is surrounded by impressions of caramelized fruits and delicate hints of smoke.
The creamy texture gives this single malt whisky a long-lasting presence in the mouth with subtle accents of dark bittersweet chocolate, vanilla beans and lightly smoked wood.
