When Abe Rosenberg died on June 5th, 1994, he left a treasure of approximately 4,500. The unit: full whisky casks. Since the 1960s, the American businessman had tracked down and acquired these mainly from Islay and Highland distilleries - as well as the Scottish family company Duncan Taylor & Co., which was to become the center of his whisky collection. The collection is now not only one of the most extensive and valuable collections of its kind in the world, but also extremely exclusive.
The latter also applies to the three novelties from the liquid archives of the independent bottler: The very limited private cask trio was bottled exclusively for the German market. The bottlings include fruity spicy 10-year-old Brackla also the following two bottlings: A smoky 11-year-old Ardmore with an intense peat content Maturation in a peated cask and a 12-year-old Bunnahabhain in a sherry Cask allowed to mature.
