Matured exclusively in former Sherry Casks, a small number of casks were selected and blended together for this bottling.
The in The Tamdhu distillery, founded in 1897, has relied on valuable and aromatic oak barrels from Andalusia right from the start.
For several years now, the distillery's Speyside single malts have matured exclusively in Oloroso Sherry Casks - cornerstone for the intense, fruity taste and the natural depth of color of the whiskies.

- Nose: Vanilla and red berries, nuts and winter spices - especially cardamom and anise
- Palate: clearly Sherry at the beginning, then Dried fruits and a warming spiciness - with a little water, fresh lemon peel and ripe apricots
