Product information "Sherry Cask Matured Berry Bros. & Rudd 55,8%vol. 0,7l"

Great Britain's oldest wine and spirits retailer writes another chapter in the company's history.
In collaboration with renowned design firm Stranger & Stranger, the supplier to the British royal family, founded in 1698, gave its entire spirits portfolio a modern look in 2021.
Whisky, rum and co. find their new home in a bottle that is inspired by the place of origin and the heart of the family business: the arched windows of the building in No. 3 St. James's Street.

One of the popular classics from Berry Bros. & Rudd counts the Sherry Cask Matured Blended Malt Scotch Whisky.
Specially for sherry fans in Germany, this limited version of the red-brown delicacy was bottled with more volume percent.
With 55.8%vol. instead of the usual 44.2%vol. The result is an inviting, seductive blended malt that plays the entire range of delicious sherry notes right into the long-lasting aftertaste.

Nose: at the beginning ripe blood oranges and raisins, followed by aromas of dates and prunes with brown cane sugar - above all light aromas of toasted wood and freshly polished leather
Taste: mouth-filling and soft - now clearly black currants, again the oranges and cane sugar - behind them becoming more spicy with anise, fennel and cinnamon - some dark chocolate
Finish: long finish with a restrained sweetness - reminiscent of a Scottish fruitcake mi t lots of raisins and dates
