Product information "Mac-Talla Strata 15 year old"
Morrison Distillers have the new Mac-Talla line at the beginning of 2021 launched, this 15-year-old Strata now completes the range.

As one of the oldest whisky families in Scotland, the Morrisons are closely connected to the famous Whisky Island Islay connected - this is also expressed by the name "Mac-Talla" - which means "Echo" in Gaelic.
The whiskys convince with their depth and diversity, which is typical for this island.

Strata, as the plural of stratum, refers to the many igneous rock formations that can be seen along the rugged, breathtaking coasts and landscapes of Islays.
Waiting is often a determinant of quality in the world of whiskey, and Strata's rich, balanced character is a tribute to the times.

The 15-year-old single Malt is as complex and layered as the rocks that support Islay.
For the Strata, selected Bourbon barrels and Sherry Casks were married together.
It was made with an alcohol content of 46%vol. bottled and, like Terra and Mara, is not chill-filtered and contains no added coloring.

Nose: smoked barley, mussels and fruity sherry aromas
Palate: velvety mouthfeel with earthy notes of peat and winter spices
Finish: rich and warm finish with an elegant smoky note
