What is the result of malt with at least 50ppm smoke content and maturing time in very different types of casks? Diversity, depth and multi-dimensional smoking pleasure!
This is what the Ballechin brand from "Scotland's Little Gem", the Edradour Distillery, stands for.
The Highland are largely manufactured as when the legendary favorite distillery of many whiskey fans was founded Single malts from Ballechin the peatiest thing Edradour has to offer.

The first batch of the new and first 15 year old standard bottling from Ballechin is made available for this group of fans - namely exclusive!

The expansion of the core range provides the popular Ballechin 10 years with a big whiskey brother, which the Highlanders will always fill in cask strength and as a small batch en.

The new standard combines relish strong peat smoke and a lovely sherry character.
The 15-year-old Ballechin is a vatting with a strong smoky spirit who matured in First Fill exBourbon Barrels and Second Fill exOloroso Sherry Butts.

Batch #1 was bottled in 3,126 bottles exclusively for the German market and, at 15 years old, is still one of the oldest bottlings of the brand.
Sweet smoke and dark fruit aromas can be found with an alcohol content of 59.4%vol. Cask strength and the absence of cooling filtration show in all their glory.
