Product information "GlenAllachie 13 year old Rioja Wine Cask Finish 48%vol. 0,7l"
They come out Italy, France and Spain add complexity and are the central building blocks of a new series from the GlenAllachie distillery: Barrique wine Barrels.
For almost two additional years of maturation, the barrels selected by Billy Walker formed the wooden home for the single malt Whiskey that initially matured in Bourbon Barrels.
Now, in June 2021, the first three bottlings of the new Wine Cask Series are available - and promise diverse perspectives on classic GlenAllachie Speyside Scotch Whisky.

The last bottling of the new series came after a total of 13 years in Bourbon Barrels and Rioja Barrique Barrels from Spanish Oak her perfect balance.
This is how Billy Walker ensured the right amount of refined, berry fruit notes.

Nose: waves of red berries, honey and grape must as well as orange peel and almonds
Taste: intense heather honey , Sultanas, almonds and red berries with barley sugar, grapefruit, orange peel and a hint of aniseed

Outturn: 6,000 bottles
