Aberlour has been one of the top international brands since the late 80s.
Aberlour is one of the creamiest malts ever, with a clear Sherry note and a pronounced toffee character.
The a'bunadh (Gaelic: from the origin, the original) is the finest bottling from Aberlour.
For this Whisky bottles are used that are reminiscent of the shape of the old Scottish apothecary bottles.
The bottles are sealed with wax, just like it used to be common practice.
Aberlour dispenses with the usual wooden stoppers when storing barrels and uses cork instead.
The cork stoppers are intended to facilitate the evaporation of coarser aromatic substances, resulting in a softer whisky.
