As a small homage to this nickname, the latest product from the Albert Michler distillery comes with the name "Old Bert" and promises a fine, traditional and yet individual spiced Rum experience: the mixture of the best Jamaican Pot Still Rum and 100% natural spice macerate (including... Persian lime, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, ginger and black peppercorns) brings a whole new style onto the market - pleasantly sweet, slightly spicy and yet classic "rum-like" with aromas of fresh citrus peel!

Tasting Notes: This is what the Old Bert Jamaican Spiced Rum tastes like

  • Nose: sweet ripe fruits, plus aromas of various spices - especially  ;Cinnamon, cloves and cardamom
  • Palate: fresh lemon peels, then again the spices - above all the elegant sweetness of the rum qualities
  • Finish: soft and mouth-filling finish with a wonderful balance between sweetness and spice
