Westward is American single malt!
This means that whiskey from Portland, Oregon, is one of the gaining popularity categories.
It is distilled according to the "grain-to-glass principle" from barley from the region, the Pacific Northwest.
Inspired by the natural beauty, Westwards single malts are now presented in a new design.
The label and made-to-measure bottle clearly embody the strong connection between the distillery and its wild and romantic homeland - fine copper embossing indicate the distillation process.

The Westward Single Malt Whiskey Original is entering the new bottle!
That elegant, robust and fruity flagship of the distillery starts as a highly aromatic pale ale, fermented with ale yeast.
Bottled in new, slightly burnt US oak barrels, The single malt unfolds in an extreme climate between hot, dry summers and cold, wet winters.

The Georgetown Trading Company has revived this classic from the American whiskey world.
The "1776" brand has actually existed since 1776, and the Pepper family produced whiskey well into the 1950s.
The most colorful figure in the family was Colonel James E. Pepper, a Bourbon aristocrat who competed in horse races, traveled in his private railroad car, and introduced the world to his "Old Fashioned" cocktail.
After years of research, the Georgetown Trading Co. has compiled the old recipes and revived the 1776. The declared aim is to produce the new whiskeys in the old style.
The result is a lively bourbon with a wonderful sweetness, accompanied by notes of vanilla, some chocolate, honey and cloves

Bulleit Bourbon 10 Years Kentucky Straight Bourbon 45.6% vol. Sample 0.04l
Bulleit's 10-year-old is distilled from 68% corn, 28% rye and 4% malted barley - the result is a creamy, tangy Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
- Aroma: creamy, sweet vanilla and clearly toasted oak
- Taste: very fruity in taste, clearly nectarines and apricots, plus more vanilla
- Finish: rich, long finish with a hint of smoke

The name "Redemption" suggests that conscious pursuit of a r (y) enaissance in the whiskey world.
The combination of a high proportion of rye and the selected alcohol content gives the whiskeys a unique flavor experience despite a comparatively short maturation in new, charred oak barrels (at least two years).
Once stamped as a drink for experienced whiskey drinkers, Rye Whiskey is now also known as Ingredient in classic premium cocktails (Sazerac, Manhattan or Whiskey Sour) with whiskey newbies very popular.

The Wild Turkey brand was launched in 1942 and quickly became a top seller.
At that time, the manufacturer Austin Nichols was still a trading company that had its whiskeys made to order in various distilleries.
In 1971 Austin Nichols acquired the "D. L. Moore" distillery near Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, from the Ripy family, and since then all Austin Nichols whiskeys have been produced here.
