Wales - Penderyn Celt 41% vol. Sample 0.04l

Celt is the peaty single malt whiskey from Penderyn, initially stored in Kentucky ex-Bourbon Barrels, then in Islay Quarter Cask, which previously contained heavily peated single malt.

• Aroma: mild aromas of peat smoke, with freshly roasted toast and orange jam
• Taste: initially sweet, then smoky and slightly medicinal notes
• Finish: a slight bitterness in the finish, giving way to a long-lasting freshness

Scotland - Craigellachie 10 Years Battlehill 46% vol. Sample 0.04l

A single barrel bottling of a 10-year-old single malt whiskey from the Scottish Speyside distillery Craigellachie. Matured in oak barrels, bottled with an alcohol content of 46% vol.

USA - Four Roses Bourbon 40% vol. Sample 0.04l

Four Roses Bourbon has been on the market since the end of the 19th century, and bottling with the yellow label is at home in Europe and Japan.

• Aroma: fresh and sweet with aromas of fresh jam and citrus fruits, with clear soft toffee behind
• Taste: soft and round in taste, again the citrus fruits, then mild honey and sweet grain - slightly spicy notes and roasted oak
• Finish: medium finish with sweet and spicy oak tones

Sweden - Mackmyra Gruvguld 46.1% vol. Sample 0.04l

Mackmyra's Gruvguld (Swedish: Grubengold or Minengold) matured in exOloroso sherry, exBourbon barrels and in barrels made from Swedish oak, resulting in a spicy single malt whiskey with a wonderful oak note!

• Aroma: spicy aromas of fresh herbs, plus ginger and coriander, clear oak - then softer aromas of vanilla fudge and marzipan develop, with slightly fruity citrus tones in the background
• Taste: the spiciness again, with elegant notes of tobacco leaves and black currants - then becoming more fruity with ripe pears and oranges
• Finish: long and spicy in the finish - only light, fruity hints of ripe pome fruit

Germany - ElsBurn 8 years Banyuls Single Cask 46.7% vol. Sample 0.04l

Very limited exclusive bottling - matured for eight years in an exBanyuls barrel. This single cask malt whiskey owes its full-bodied, fruity sweetness to the fortified wine from the south of France.

Bottled at cask strength with an alcohol content of 46.7% vol.
