This 16-year-old Single Malt Whisky comes from an extremely well-known Speyside distillery . It comes from the row of Casks (in this case a sherry butt) that this distillery sold after an expensive new building - but without the right to put the name on the label). Be that as it may - the filling is convincing: velvety-soft, with a strong sherry influence, with notes of chocolate raisins, oranges and toffee.
Nose: smells of summer with ripe fruits and floral aromas
Taste: velvety-soft in taste with notes of warm honey, followed by ripe oranges and tof fee Finish: chocolate covered raisins and roasted nuts - mouth-filling, very nicely balanced and warming in the finish
