Edition #7 of the series exclusively for Germany by the independent Scottish bottler Signatory. 
For the seventh bottling of the Signatory Small Batch Edition is once again on Smoky Island Islay.
Three refill hogsheads and two refill dark sherry butts (sister barrels of the Winter Seasons) of Caol Ila Whiskey were married for Small Batch #7 and ensure a wonderfully balanced Islay malt .

Fresh fruits and a little citrus at first, before the Caol Ila typical, slightly salty peat smoke flows into the nose.
In the mouth fruity and spicy before the peat smoke stalks again.
A long-lasting, earthy finish with a nice malty flavor - definitely not a cursed seventh bottling!
