Portrait: What makes the Tripulante Caribbean Elixir special

Bodega Williams & For more than 130 years, Humbert has not only devoted himself to refining sherries, but has also continually presented new, carefully developed bottlings from different areas.
With the Tripulante Caribbean Elixir, the bodega is once again expanding its range. Tripulante Caribbean Elixir is a rum elixir made from various, specially selected, fine Caribbean rum qualities that have been matured in oak barrels for several years.
The Tripulante Caribbean Elixir is very mild, round and well balanced on the palate with fine rum aromas in the bouquet. The taste profile of Tripulante Caribbean Elixir is mature and sweet and the fascinating finish is pleasant and long-lasting accompanied by light notes of honey and figs. 

It is highly recommended to enjoy it neat or on ice, but also in sophisticated cocktails.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Tripulante Caribbean Elixir tastes like

  • Nose: a pleasant sweetness of juicy dried fruits, especially figs, with honey and light aromas of spicy wood
  • Palate: soft and harmonious - the figs again, plus dark cherries and a clearer spice
  • Finish: medium-long finish - fruits and spice in an elegant balance
