This region is particularly suitable for the cultivation of sugar cane, with a temperate climate and volcanic soils, which give sugar cane juices a perfect match of elegance and tonicity.
The aging in oak barrels at high altitudes leads to a slow maturation of the spirit, which makes Tierra Madre a great rum; very balanced, fruity with delicate notes of honey and some wood.
