"Vital Spark" means something like vital spark - and in fact, this lavish single malt whiskey can very well awaken the spirits of life. The name is borrowed from a Scottish coastal ship that traveled on the River Clyde in the 1930s and transported whiskey barrels and coal.

Which distillery is behind this malt? This does not reveal the bottler, the Meadowside Blending company from Glasgow. The family business was founded in 2011 by Donald Hart and his son Andrew. Donald Hart? Exactly, Donald Hart, who with his brothers as Hart Brothers has stood for excellent single malt fillings since 1964.
