Five small sample bottles, each with 50ml content, with the soft Irish whiskey in the five different cask finishes, port wine, calvados, sherry, virgin oak and rum.

West Cork Port Cask Finished
Nose: ripe, dark berry fruits are present, along with soft vanilla and light oak tones
Taste: soft and silky - the fruits become more intense - plums and forest berries, with malty notes, again the vanilla
Finish: long finish with sweet, fruity notes

West Cork Calvados Cask Finished
Nose: fresh grapes and freshly cut grass - ripe grain behind
Taste: soft and mouth-filling - notes of ripe summer fruits, especially red apples and ripe pears
Finish: medium-long finish with sweet-fruity notes

West Cork Sherry Cask Finished
Nose: clearly the sherry - ripe fruit, especially red berries and plums, with raisins and dates - fresh vanilla and oak wood behind
Taste: now it's getting fruity! intense notes of red, ripe berries and plums, juicy raisins - the sherry is unmistakable! - there is also a rich malt note and again the oak
Finish: long fruity finish, carried by the sherry

West Cork Virgin Oak Cask Finished
Nose: freshly cut grass, vanilla and freshly sawn oak
Taste: soft, almost creamy in taste - again the grass and the vanilla - above all spicy oak notes and light chocolate
Finish: medium-long finish with slightly fruity notes - again the freshly cut grass and oak

West Cork Rum Cask Finished
Nose: soft and invigorating in the aroma - clearly the rum barrel with delicately sweet aromas of ripe citrus fruits and ripe apples
Taste: creamy - almost oily mouthfeel, strong notes of citrus fruits and apples, plus spicy tones of fresh malt and sugar cane
Finish: the sweetness and the spice remain in good balance for a long time
