Mackmyra's Grönt Te (Swedish: green tea) is based on a more than extraordinary idea!
Mackmyra filled several Casks with the classic green teas Sencha, Matcha, Gyokuro and Kaoribo Hojicha - the Casks were then emptied and the Malt Whisky from Mackmyra then matured for 19 months in these flavored Casks.

A truly unusual experiment for the 20th anniversary of the distillery in 2020!

Nose: spicy aromas at the beginning, then increasingly fruity - clearly grapes and ripe berries, peach and ripe in the background Citrus fruits
Taste: mild and fine taste with light vanilla notes, fresh fruit and raisins
Finish: soft and elegant in the fruity finish - slightly spicy tones in the background
