Isle of Harris Distillery opened its doors in September 2015 and has been distilling single malt whiskey and a maritime gin ever since. Each bottle is filled and labeled by hand in the distillery.
Isle of Harris Gin is soft, balanced and maritime. The defining ingredient is Sugar Kelp, a brown algae that is harvested by a diver off the island.
The firing process is costly and geared towards the highest quality, since pre and post run are completely removed from the firing process.
