The twelve year old El Dorado is one of the classics of this brand, an elegant Demerara rum from the Coffey stills and the wooden pot stills of the distilleries Uitvlught and Enmore.

Tasting Notes: This is how the El Dorado 12 year old tastes like

  • Nose: pleasant sweet aromas of butterscotch, vanilla and honey, plus spicy oak and a hint of smoke in the background
  • Palate: ripe plums and chocolate, plus toffee and vanilla, again spicy oak
  • Finish: long and soft in the finish - now the smoke again
