Portrait: What makes the Espero Liqueur Creole Elixir special.

The elegant Espero Liqueur Creole Elixir is created from 7 to 12 year old rum qualities.
The selected rum barrels are blended together and then raisins are macerated in them.

The Ron Espero is made in the traditional way from high-quality dark rum made from molasses. Maturation takes place in former bourbon barrels.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Espero Liqueur Creole Elixir tastes like

  • Nose: fruity-sweet in the aroma, which is somewhat reminiscent of Sherry, followed by honey and a light spice 
  • Palate: pleasantly sweet with clear notes of rum-soaked raisins - in the background slightly spicy hints
  • Finish: medium long with a soft, pleasantly sweet finish, again the raisins and the slight spice
