• Nose: Aromatic with floral and fruity notes, heather and fruit salad are present, as well as roasted, warm almonds and fresh hay
• Taste: creamy with notes of ripe pomaceous fruit and berries, with some honey and nuts

Glen Moray's 12 year old Single Malt - matured in Casks of American white Oak!

• Nose: rich, with sweet, fruity and floral aromas, lots of vanilla toffee with ripe berry fruits and freshly cut herbs
• Taste: a classic Speysider, soft with a delicate sweetness, summer fruits, toffee and roasted oak
• Finish: pleasantly sweet on the finish with a subtle oak note

Glenfarclas is one of the few independent distilleries in Scotland. Founded in 1836 and owned by the Grant family since 1865.

John Grant is now the fifth generation to run Glenfarclas.

Glenfarclas is also one of the few distilleries that has been around since it was founded have produced without interruption.

This explains the wide range of different bottlings from this house.

• Aroma: strong sherry aromas with dark fruits, plus mint and oak
• Taste: more and more sherry - again the fruits, especially plums, dates and raisins - then nutty notes
• Finish: very long finish - sherry and nuts remain

Balvenie 12 years Double Wood 40% vol. Sample 0.04l

The Double Wood is stored in two different barrels.

First in bourbon barrels for 11.5 years and then for 6 months in selected sherry barrels.

The sherry is unmistakable in its aroma and taste, there are also light orange tones.

• Aroma: ground barley, slightly nutty, then fruity notes of grapefruit and cherries
• Taste : sweet in taste, the fruitiness is clear - now orange and red berries, slightly spicy with a little vanilla - and in the very background you can feel some peat
• Finish: dry and spicy finish, pleasantly warming
