Glenfiddich Fire & Cane
The whisky is made by combining peated whiskies with malts matured in exBourbon Barrels and is complemented by its finish in Latin American rum barrels.
The result is a special whisky that contributes to the smoky notes of a campfire, but also the sweetness of toffee.
Nose: sweet peat smoke, reserved as smoke in the wind, then rich sweet aromas of toffee and citrus fruits - slightly spicy in the background
Taste: reminiscent of a campfire - spicy oak and toffee, plus green Fruits, baked apple and soft smoke
Finish: Smoke and sweetness in harmonious balance

Überrasczhend anders von Glenfiddich. Würde ich nicht immer kaufen, aber als Abwechslung durchaus eine Empfehlung

Gelungenes Experiment: peated Malt in Rumfässern gelagert. Die Süße tritt mal mehr hervor, dann wieder der rauchige Geschmack. Jedes Glas eine Überraschung.
