For 21 long years this Ledaig matured in a refill hogshead, distilled in July 1997, bottled in May 2019 to only 260 bottles.

Nose: intense smoky aromas, then old leather, smoked ham and iodine
Taste: in the taste again the delicate smoky notes, in addition to growing bacon, peated barley and burning logs
Finish: endlessly long finish - caramelized sugar, again smoke and peat
