A 12-year old single malt whisky from the Glenallachie distillery - aged for ten years in American oak barrels, then stored for a second maturation in former Pedro Ximenez sherry-puncheons. Nose: one true torrent of sweet raisins, sultanas and dark chocolate - plus ripe bananas and orange peel Taste: full of flavor with intense notes of üppigherm fruit cake, again the dark chocolate and the ripe bananas, followed by toffee, orange peel and sweet and spicy tones Finish: long and full on the finish - the sweet fruits and the chocolate will last for a long time
