Product information "Barbados Rum 8 year old - 1731 Fine & Rare"
The history books mark the year 1731 as the year the British Royal Navy offered their sailors halfpint rum as part of their reward.
Rum has been an integral part of Navy history for hundreds of years.
Today in 1731 stands for a unique range of rum, each with a distinctive character that speaks volumes about its origins. The series consists exclusively of rum qualities that are produced without any colorings or additives.
The 1731 collection consists of three unique regional rum blends and three unique single-origin rum varieties from Central America to the tip of the South American continent.

The Barbados 8 years contains rum from the Foursquare Destillery, which matured for at least eight years in former bourbon barrels on Barbados. It is made from molasses and distilled on both column and pot stills.
