The barrel-strong version of the Mountain Edition!

In 2014, Slyr's Master Distiller Hans Kemeter selected fifty barrels of fresh distillate and transported them by ski lift to the summit of Stümpfling Mountain at 1,501 meters.
Up here is the altitude camp of the Slyrs distillery - the Mountain Edition matured there for over five years - the pure mountain air and the extreme temperature fluctuations of up to 60 degrees characterize this special location and are reflected in the single malt whiskey.

Aroma: strong, spicy aromas with a subtle smoky note, with caramel and nuts - a little vanilla
Taste: exceptionally complex with voluminous starch, present spicy notes such as pepper and nutmeg - almonds roasted behind
Finish: very long finish
