Nose: strong aromas of woody smoke, clearly peat and fresh pineapple, then pear and the Arran-typical lime
Taste: with some water very nice fruity notes, clearly strawberry jam on freshly baked bread - in the background peat smoke
Finish: vanilla finish and maritime notes

Trotz der hohen Umdrehungen brennt der Alkohol nicht, sondern ist angenehm eingebunden in ein schönes Bouquet von leichtem Zitrus über einen Hauch Heidekraut bis hin zu dunklen Holzaromen. Rauch und Torf sind – obwohl es in dieser Hinsicht der kräftigste aus dem Hause Arran sein soll – für Liebhaber dieser Geschmacksrichtung sehr dezent. Aber Obacht: die zuvor genannten Leckerheiten lassen schnell vergessen, dass der Alkohol dennoch seine Wirkung entfaltet, wenn man nicht Maß hält. Kleine Gläser mit Stiel und Stil helfen bei der Dosierung.
