Altersgerecht
Würde ich die Bewertung in Relation zu Preis und Alter anlegen, bekäme dieser Rum sicher eine 8. Er hat den typischen Vanille-Ton im Geschmack, auch Eiche (sehr sogar) ist da, die Würze stimmt. Mild und weich kommt er allerdings nicht vollumfänglich rüber. Er ist sogar latent spritig; vielleicht auch, weil ihm nicht dermaßen viel Süße innewohnt, die man vor allem auch von hochpreisigen Melasse-Spirits gewohnt ist. Für mich aber auch gerade deshalb eine "kantige" Abwechslung. Definitiv aber ein guter Mix-Rum für Longdrinks und Cocktails mit dunklem Rumanteil, da der Malteco 10 recht klar rüber kommt.
