Who can still remember the beginnings of Compass Box Whisky remember? At that time there was already a bottling called Juveniles, named after the Parisian bistro where John Glaser became a good friend of the bistro's owner, Tim Johnston.
These two are also the ones together responsible for this elegant, very soft, slightly fruity Blended Malt Whisky!

For the Juveniles Limited Edition Compass Box relies on up to 18-year-old single malts from the distilleries Strathmill, Balmenach, Clynelish and Glendullan. Matured in Refill and Recharred Hogsheads as well as First Fill and Refill Sherry Butts, they result in a lovely, soft composition of barley sugar, pear drop sweets and vanilla with an underlying herbal note. Juveniles honors the long-standing friendship between Compass Box and Juveniles Bistrot à Vins from Paris, a meeting place for winemakers, spirits producers, writers and connoisseurs from all over the world.

• Nose: sweet barley sugar, ripe pears and some vanilla
• Palate: very soft, almost creamy in taste, again light vanilla notes and pear sweets - light tones of fresh herbs - very harmonious
• Finish: soft in the finish - light and pleasantly fruity, with very slight hints of vanilla
