Product information "Timorous Beasties 10 Year Old 46.8% vol. 0.7l with two glasses"
Douglas Laing's 10-year Timorous Beastie with two original Timorous Beastie nosing glasses!

The little mouse is reminiscent of the poem "To a mouse" by Robert Burns, probably the most famous poet and poet of Scotland.
This Blended Malt Scotch Whiskey is a declaration of love to the Scottish Highlands - and so find only single malt whiskeys from the Highlands the way to this little mouse!

Distilleries such as Blair Athol, Glen Garioch, The Dalmore and Glengoyne are represented.

Aroma: sugar-sweet at first, then warm syrup and ripe, juicy nectarines
Taste: creamy honey on warm buttered toast, with soft, spicy notes and ripe cereals
Departure: long, delicate finish, again the honey, with ripe oranges and soft fruits

Der 10jährige Timorous Beastie ist ein schöner runder Whisky, den ich gerne mit Freunden trinke.

Nicht ganz so "Beastie" wie ich gedacht habe. Trotz der 46,8% kein Torfmonster. Daher auch für "Iren" durechaus trinkbar.

Toller Malt der aus tollen Highland Malts hergestellt wurde. Man merkt die großartige Qualität der Single Malts die in dieser Abfüllung vereint wurden. Highland at its best. Obendrein sieht die Flasche einfach gut aus und die Gläser noch besser. :-)

Für diesen Preis durchaus ein "Probierer"

Dafür das er ohne Farbstoffe daher kommt hat der Douglas Laing Timorous Beastie 10 Years Old Small Batch Release noch ordentlich Farbe aus dem Fass abbekommen. Für seine knapp 47% überraschend cremig, Geschmacksnoten konnte ich so schnell keine herausragenden finden, evtl. erst nach der zweiten oder dritten Verkostung. Ich persönlich mag ihn und vielleicht kaufe ich ihn mir noch einmal wieder
