Glen Scotia's peated 10-year-old single malt was presented in September 2018.

Nose: peat smoke and soft vinegar flavors, plus a fresh sea breeze, baked apples, peppered with cloves
Taste: full and oily in the taste with clearly lemon and vanilla syrup, in addition notes of freshly harvested barley
Finish: long and dry on the finish with soft peat smoke and black pepper

Ein herrlicher und einfacher Malt mit einem Hauch von Torf.
Zum Einstieg in die harte Welt der Phenole sehr zu empfehlen.

wo peated drauf steht, ist Torf drin

Beim ersten Schluck schmeckt man fast nur den Torf, aber je leerer die Flasche wird, desto angenehmer und runder wird der Glen Scotia. Ich habe ihn durchaus genossen, auch wenn er nicht zu meinen absoluten Favoriten zählen wird, kann man den durchaus empfehlen.
