Rum from Bavaria!
From the distillery Lantenhammer (Slyrs) comes this pure Agricole rum, distilled from the finest sugar cane from the East African island of Mauritius.
Distilled in the Pot Still process from award-winning Master Distiller Tobias Maier, the rum was stored in former bourbon, cognac, Madeira and sherry casks.

Edition 2018 is limited to 5,490 bottles (with individual numbering)

Aroma: caramelized sugar and toffee, then baked apple with cinnamon and a little vanilla - dried fruit and nuts, paired with fresh sugar cane
Taste: velvety soft in the taste with a light sweetness and spicy wood notes
Finish: endlessly long finish - again the dried fruits and the toffee, slightly fruity

Ein sehr leckeres Tröpfchen. Die Lagerung in 4 verschiedenen Faßtypen ergibt einen runden und ausgewogenen Rum. P/L-Verhältnis stimmt, er ist nicht zu süß, der Alkohol ist gut eingebunden - könnte für mich ein Standard werden - und das dage ich als Fan von Islay-Whisky!
