The Story of the Spaniard Compass Box 43%vol. Sample 0,04l

In the summer of 2018 Compass Box presented this new bottling in its own Malt Whiskey Collection, which in addition to this sherry barrel-embossed blended malt whiskey still contains the brands Oak Cross, The Peat Monster and The Spice Tree .
In this blended malt whiskey, all the main whiskeys are sherry cask stalls - the ideal blended malt whiskey for the late evening or after a sumptuous meal.

Aroma: clearly the sherry barrel influence - ripe, red berries and dried fruit - sweet and balanced - over all a light spice
Taste: full and very soft in the taste with distinct notes of citrus peels and ripe pears, cooked in red wine with spices
Departure: long finish with hints of vanilla and panna cotta - ripe berries and cherries behind
