Founded in 1967, GlenAllachie distillery, which is a relatively young Scottish restaurant, has been privately owned since 2017, with none other than Master Distiller Billy Walker among the three owners!

Nose: Butterscotch and honey are present with raisins and mocha in the background
Taste: mild honey and marzipan, clearly ripe bananas and again butterscotch, raisins and notes of mocha
Finish: harmonious and soft on the finish - honey and bananas remain present for a long time

Der Whisky wird von Jahrgang zu Jahrgang besser. Eine 2017 Abfüllung war noch etwas eckig, der hätte nur eine "3" von mir erhalten. Schöne Süße und Würze!
