The new series "Discovery" by Gordon & MacPhail presents the different flavors in the world of Scottish single malt whiskies.
We start with the three most popular "flavors" "Smoky with Peat", "Bourbon Cask Matured" and "Sherry Cask Matured".

For this bottling, Gordon & MacPhail made a 10-year-old Miltonduff from Speyside, Scotland.

Tasting Notes: How does the Miltonduff 10-year-old Gordon & MacPhail Discovery?

Nose: Dry sherry aromas and juicy raisins, plus chocolate and orange jelly - baked apples and freshly cut grass in the background

Palate: Sweet and spicy with wonderful notes of creamy candies and roasted hazelnuts, followed by orange peel and spicy notes of pepper - above all ripe plums and fig jam

Finish: very long finish with lots of chocolate and braised fruit - plus winter spices such as cardamom and anise
