The whiskey from the Scottish island of Jura is compared to the peaty heavyweights of the neighboring island of Islay scored only slightly and not nearly as heavy as its neighbors.

Nose: light aromas of marzipan and honey, with a distinct peat note
Taste: Quite spicy in the taste, with a nice honey note again
Finish: slightly spicy with a pleasant sweetness, again some peat

geschmacklich ein guter Whisky, jedoch hatte ich anhand des Flaschenaufdrucks eine andere Note erwartet. Dennoch gelungen.
