Distilled in September 1976, the single grain whiskey matured for over 40 years in a Refill Hogshead, before Douglas Laing bottled the cask in June 2017 at only 169 bottles.
Aroma: sweet aromas of toffee and milk chocolate, then spicy caramel cream
Taste: spicy in the taste - plus butterscotch and firm toffee pudding with vanilla
Departure: long finish - still sweet - more and more caramel, paired with cinnamon and ginger
