Ian MacLeod's coveted Smokehead gets a brother - the High Voltage with an alcohol content of 58% vol. bottled.

Aroma: the high alcohol content tingles into the nose - intense aromas of peat and smoke, plus fresh sea air and wheat biscuits, some vanilla and toffee
Taste: the mouth fills with smoke - thick and oily, then suddenly softer and creamier - nutty notes, some vinegar and citrus fruits
Finish: the mouthfeel is dull, almost shocked - a light sweetness mixes with the smoke, leaving behind a light salty taste
