The name of this bottling is Mary Queen of Scots, the Queen of Scotland from 1561 to 1567.

A soft, elegantly blended whisky!

Nose: fruity aromas at the beginning - like a fresh fruit basket - followed by soft aromas of toffee and caramel, with slightly spicy notes of coriander and cinnamon
Taste: soft and creamy in the taste - again the caramel and the fresh fruit - behind it spicy oak and a hint of pepper
Finish: long in Departure - again the fruits and the spice - in the background one senses some smoke
