First, this pot still whiskey stored in exBourbon, exOloroso-Sherry and first-filled American oak barrels, then a second maturation for 12-24 months in ex Bordeaux wine barrels from the Chateau Léoville Barton.
Aroma: fruity with clear aromas of raspberries and red apples, mild honey, lemon and ginger
Taste: again the apples, followed by soft toffee, fresh lemon peel and redcurrants - above all honey and spicy notes
Departure: a long finish with a surprisingly dry note - ripe cereals and even more spiciness are present
