Based on the naming of the other Dos Maderas qualities, this rum would have to be 10 + 5.
First, Rum barrels from Barbados and Guyana mature for ten years in their respective homelands, then these barrels are married together and stored for another five years in Palo Cortado's Don Guido Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
Only 5,000 bottles of "luxury" are bottled annually.
Aroma: over and over vanilla, molasses and fragrant dried fruit
Taste: almost unbelievably rich and soft in the taste - reminds first of wine, then notes of molasses, allspice and roasted coffee - again the fruits and the vanilla
Finish: Endless, very soft finish
