Product information "Longrow Red 11 Year Old Fresh Matured Cabernet Franc 55.9% vol. 0,7l"
First, this limited edition single malt whiskey matured for nine years in exBourbon barrels, then for another two years in first-filled exCabernet franc barrels from De Toren Private Cellar in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Aroma: at the beginning over and over peat flavors, then clearly red wine and the sweetness of marzipan, toffee and raspberry jam
Taste: again the peat, then the sweetness of caramelized sugar and toffee apples - then fruity with clear notes of boiled rhubarb and juicy red apples - buttery in the taste with hints of fresh pastry
Departure: long finish with notes of burned, sooty logs - plus vanilla, oak and tannins - slightly phenolic
