Portrait: What makes the Elijah Craig Small Batch special.

One of the most popular bourbon whiskeys from the USA, named after the Baptist preacher Elijah Craig (1743-1808).
The great success of the brand is the reason why Elijah Craig now has to forego the age statement of 12 years, the demand was too great, so it was decided to create an equally high-quality bourbon without an age statement.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Elijah Craig Small Batch tastes like

  • Nose: mild honey and fresh cedar wood, with sweet jam and spicy aromas, especially Cardamom
  • Palate: baked, warm apples with cinnamon, again the honey and fresh pastries
  • Finish: spicy oak and nutmeg on the finish
