Lagavulin's 12-year-old bottling in barrel strength - the limited edition 2017.

Aroma: strong peat smoke and sweet aromas of powdered sugar, then lemon and peppermint - some maple syrup and warm bread, slightly fruity in the background
Taste: surprisingly mild in the taste - soft and sweet, a little salt - fruity chocolate, mint and smoke, a light honey sweetness and some oak - warming
Departure: very long on leaving at the beginning, soft and cool, then warming with lots of smoke and herbs
