Founded in 1897, Imperial was closed in 1998 and is meanwhile demolished.
For this bottling, Gordon & MacPhail selected barrels from 1997 - one year before closure, bottled at the age of 20 in the 2017 Distillery Label range.

Aroma: sweet sherry aromas with distinctly apricot and mild spices, some liquorice in the background
Taste: peppery in the taste with notes of cooked plums, with oranges and milk chocolate
Finish: long finish with elegant notes of spicy oak
