Rajigala is Indian and means "king of eagles".
Distilled from malted Punjabi barley and stored in exBourbon casks.

Nose: initially fruity aromas of peach and pear, then develop aromas of roasted oak with lots of vanilla
Taste: honey-infused fruits, light peat smoke and freshly ground pepper
Finish: Warm finish with some peat smoke and slightly sweet, fruity tones - in the background licorice

Nachdem ich von dem Armut Single Malt so begeistert war wollte ich noch mehr. Doch dieser kommt leider nicht ganz ran. Ihm fehlt einfach der wahnsinnige Reichtum an Aromen, was für mich persönlich Indien irgendwie verkörpert. Dafür empfinde ich ihn als etwas torfiger, somit hat er auch seine Daseinsberechtigung und wird seine Liebhaber finden.
Wobei ich anmerken möchte, dass es jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau ist, wäre da nicht der unheimlich gute Single Malt, hätte ich ihm 5 Sterne gegeben.
