An elegant, soft blended Scotch whiskey from Scottish Lowland distillery Bladnoch, created by Master Distiller and Blender Ian McMillan.
Ian McMillan has more than 40 years of experience creating whiskeys - for many years he worked for Burn Stewart and was responsible for the Tobermory, Bunnahabhain and Deanston brands.
The main ingredient of this exceptional Blended Scotch Whisky is an eight-year-old Bladnoch, joined by fine malt whiskeys from the Highlands, the Scottish Speyside and the Islay Island.
The used Islay malt is quickly recognized, if one considers the professional career of Ian McMillan this is not surprising.
Nose: clearly toffee and fruit cake, with some smoke
Taste: full-bodied and balanced with strong notes of ginger jam, soft honey and many ripe fruits - behind it again the smoke
Finish: soft and elegant on the finish with fruit and a subtle smoky note
